It’s a while ago I printed my wax seal on the backside of the canvas. Today I decide to pick up that old studio principle on the backside of my latest painting order ‘Lady Clara’. It’s a painting of the real Lady Clara and the vessel named to her. The ship is sailing around the globe today. Afther I put the seal on it I brush the varnished on it.

Het is al weer even geleden dat ik mijn lakzegel stempel heb gebruikt. Vandaag besloot ik dat oude atelier principe weer in te voeren om de achterkant van mijn laatste opdracht, ‘Lady Clara’, te zegelen. Het is het schilderij van de echte Lady Clara en het schip dat haar naam draagt. Het schip vaart op dit moment rond de wereld. Nadat ik het werk gezegeld heb heb ik het gevernist.
