De laatste behandeling van de monumentale lijst voor ‘Catharinastraat nummer 7’ heeft vandaag plaats gevonden. Dit werk zal straks te zien zijn tijdens de Pinkster tentoonstelling te Zetten in het atelier van Ewald Sorbi.

The last preparations for the monumental frame for ‘Catharinastreet number 7’ took place today. This piece of art will show up at the whitsunday exhibition in Zetten (Netherlands) at the studio of fellow artist Ewald Sorbi.

Speciaal voor dit werk heb ik vandaag een transportkist gemaakt om te voorkomen dat het werk tijdens het transport beschadigd raakt.

To prevent damage to the artwork, while it’s on transportation, I build a special cargo box for it today.

En aan het eind van de dag kan ik tevreden vaststellen dat het perfect past. En dat is iets wat me in het verleden niet altijd vanzelfsprekend lukte. Maar op het punt van houtbewerking maak ik dus vorderingen.

And as usual, it fits perfectly in the cargobox. But that was not always naturaly in the past. Today I establish that there is progress in my learning proces of woodworking skills.
